RTS Wind Group is excited to announce the official opening of its newest branch, RTS Wind Poland, located in Szczecin (Stettin), Poland.
This marks a major step in expanding RTS Wind’s presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
Operation and maintenance, blade repair, and retrofit training
The Szczecin office will serve as a regional hub for wind turbine operation and maintenance, blade repair, retrofits, and workforce training, under the leadership of General Manager Łukasz Pietryga.
Strategic Location: Poland is rapidly growing its wind energy sector – especially offshore wind, aiming for 18 GW of new capacity by 2040. Szczecin’s port area is being upgraded as a key service and installation hub for this expansion. Having a local office here brings RTS Wind closer to major projects and customers, enabling faster response times and local expertise for both onshore and offshore sites.
John Galliford Operations Director at RTS Wind noted, “Opening the office in Poland strengthens our presence in Central and Eastern Europe. Poland is a fantastic place filled with talent. This is about more than expanding our business, it is a commitment to the future of wind energy globally.”

Łukasz Pietryga, General Manager of RTS Wind Poland, will lead the new office. Pietryga has been with RTS Wind since 2016 and brings deep industry experience. He began his career on the production line at LM Wind Power (Goleniów), later becoming a traveling blade-repair trainer.
“Working on wind turbines is empowering – our work helps move the world toward a cleaner, more sustainable future,” Pietryga says. He emphasizes that RTS Wind’s passion and support set it apart: “What truly sets us apart is the passion and vision shared by the people here… and there’s always support,” he explained. Under his leadership, the Szczecin office will grow a team of Polish technicians and trainers for regional projects.
Services & Training: RTS Wind Poland will offer the full range of wind-turbine services developed across the RTS Wind Group. This includes mechanical and electrical maintenance, component replacements, onshore and offshore service & support, as well as rotor blade inspection and repair.
The company’s goal is “maximum turbine efficiency and long-term operational security” for clients. The new branch will also serve as a training center, providing Global Wind Organization (GWO) – certified courses (e.g. Working at Heights, Electrical Safety) to help build local expertise. This aligns with national initiatives – for example, a recent Polish program invested in free turbine technician training to meet rising demand. Future offerings will include specialized workshops (blade repair, high-voltage work) to support Poland’s growing wind workforce.
